Get A Grip

Been lucky enough to collaborate with my friend and super talent Rachel Chiu on a series of illustration's for SS15. We bring you: Get A Grip. Copy by yours truly.

As icy winds become a thing of winter’s past, it’s time to bring those delicate hands from out of the deepest depths of your pockets. We urge you to a get a grip with Spring’s latest clutch offerings that will add a splash of luxe to day time ensembles; hold on tight ladies.

Saint Laurent
Command attention with Saint Laurent’s quilted Cassandre shoulder bag; a Hedi Slimane tribute to an archived style from the iconic Parisian house. Adorned with a gold chain strap and the label’s classic ‘YSL’ plaque, this modern classic instantly lends a casual look an ultra chic finish. It’s the ultimate ‘How to be Parisian wherever you are’.

Proenza Schouler
Channel springs optimistic new mood with Proenza Schouler’s artsy creation. For the sartorially savvy, The Lunch Bag places emphasis on the season’s mood for oversized statement pieces. Re-imagined in off-white and black printed leather, this work of art was made to sit under your arm and make it’s debut at the first party of spring.

Marni
Onlookers will be green with envy as you add an emerald splash to your everyday repertoire. Marni celebrates a ‘more is more’ appeal by welcoming the right amount of embellishment on this sleek, patent style. A head turner, this is a true forever piece as it will take you elegantly from day to evening.

Anya Hindmarch
Bat an eyelid at a handsome stranger courtesy of Anya Hindmarch’s emoti-icon box clutch. The ultimate understated game changer, this sweet little creation will make a flirty addition to a monochrome ensemble. An eye for an eye as they say…

Alexander McQueen

Gain some serious clutch control courtesy of Alexander McQueen’s python printed piece; a fine example of the London label’s darkly rebellious aesthetic. Embrace the textured holdall against a minimalist backdrop and watch as it gives your look added bite.
